This is a Rotisserie League. I have:
C - Martin;1B-Howard;2B-Weekes
3B-Kozmanoff;SS-Greene:
2B/SS-Hardy;1B/3B-V. Martinez;
OF-Holliday,Beltran,Wells, Bay & Dunn.
Util-Burrell.
SP- Linecum,Wainwright, Peavy,Vazquez,Lester & Pettite.
RP-Papelbon, Jones, Gregg, B. Wilson & Percival.
Bench-Thome(whom I hope to drop for A. Gonzalez from SD).
I have a proposed trade for Wainwright and Burell for Beltre and B. Lyon. Is this a good trade??
I know that I have a thin Bench, and my SBs won't be there. But is this competitive enough for a Rotesserie??
You actually might not be as bad as you think at stolen bases with Martin at catcher. Your trade would be great for you to get some pitching. I would give your team a grade B-. Your batting has power and a solid consistency so I give them an A-. Your bench is actually pretty good for your batters. Your pitching needs loads of improvement though. I would try to do that trade and even give up Bay if necessary. Your pitching is weak except for Peavy and maybe Vazquez, but no one else can pitch. My answer to your question, do I think you'd be ready for a Rotesserie league. Yes.
